Privacy policy
This policy explains what data the product collects, why, where it goes, and how to get it removed. The short version: we keep what is needed to run your account and remember your progress, and nothing is sold.
What we collect
- Your email address and display name when you sign in
- Lessons you mark as understood, notes you save, and settings you change
- Billing records held by the payment processor, never full card numbers
- Basic usage analytics: which pages load and how long they take
Why we collect it
To sign you in, to keep your progress across devices, to send the emails you asked for, and to find and fix broken pages. We do not build advertising profiles.
Your notes and progress are yours. You can export them from your settings page at any time, and deleting your account deletes them.
Where it goes
Sign-in is handled by an authentication provider, billing by a payment processor acting as merchant of record, and email by a transactional email service. Each receives only the data needed for its job. Metered features send the input you provide to the model or infrastructure provider behind them, and are labelled as such before you use them.
Cookies and local storage
A session cookie keeps you signed in. Local storage remembers small conveniences such as a dismissed banner or a currency choice. There are no third-party advertising cookies.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Analytics are aggregated after ninety days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing us. Requests are answered within thirty days.
